Were seeking an experiencedTrading & Portfolio Managerto lead a highperforming trading and analytics team within a rapidly evolving energy organisation. This role suits a strategic datadriven leader with strong energy market expertise and a passion for innovation.
About the Role
You will oversee energy market analysis trading strategy portfolio optimisation and customer risk management. The role includes leading a team of analysts and traders enhancing analytical and AI capabilities and managing a renewable energy portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead trading analytics and portfolio management functions.
- Monitor wholesale energy markets and customer exposure using advanced data and AI tools.
- Develop and optimise trading hedging and risk strategies.
- Manage renewable generation assets and support asset dispatch strategy.
- Build and maintain trading policies procedures and risk frameworks.
- Lead mentor and develop a highperforming team.
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong energy market analysis and trading leadership experience.
- 5 years in leadership or management of energy trading or portfolio analytics teams.
- Expertise in derivatives forecasting risk management and advanced analytics/AI.
- Tertiary qualification in finance economics engineering or a quantitative field.
- Excellent communication negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
