Job Summary

Talon Recruiting has partnered with a leading heavy truck dealership. We are seeking skilled Diesel Technicians to join their team in Coopersburg PA.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Must be able to perform truck repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards including diagnostics.
Must keep bay area clean and orderly in compliance with company safety policy

Requirements:

Positive attitude
Must communicate effectively with managerial staff.
Must work well individually and as part of a larger team.
Will need to have the ability to sit squat bend pull and lift up to 50lbs repeatedly throughout up to a twelve-hour shift.
Experience with electrical diagnostics and computer-based diagnostics and repair required.
The ability to climb in and out of Class 8 vehicles Cranes Garbage trucks Cement Mixers and other vocational equipment.
2 years shop experience preferred.
Must possess a high school diploma /GED.
Vocational or technical certification required.
CAT/Cummins/Detroit/Paccar experience/certifications preferred.
Required to possess PA semi-annual inspection license.
A valid CDL is preferred
