Job Summary
The Technical Designer I Architecture independently performs basic design and developstechnical aspects of projects during all phases of multiple simultaneous projects
Job Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise to project teams regarding building systems detailing code analysis project documentation construction administration and other project-centric processes.
- Provide technical detailing in a variety of construction materials
- systems and building types.
- Collaborate with designers and teams to translate design concepts into sound technical solutions.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in architecture from an accredited college or university.
- 0 to 3 years of experience
Preferred Education & Experience
- Masters degree in architecture from an accredited college or university.
- Demonstrated proficiency and exceptional knowledge of space programming contract documents detailing specifications team production management strong design and graphic skills and contract administration.
- Proficiency with computer software including Revit Architecture AutoCAD and Microsoft Office required.
- Excellent time management and organization skills with the ability to become involved in and remain current on issues relating to a number of concurrent projects in various stages.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and associates.
- Strong graphic verbal and written communication skills required.
