RSI Community is currently recruiting qualified applicants to supervise/train/evaluate staff and provide support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities at our Spring Glen community-based retirement center!

- Established non-profit in the community since 1974. More than 50 years!
- Provides support to over 120 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
- RSI employs more than 250 clinical direct care nursing and administrative staff.
- RSI ranks highly in Orange County NC: 5th largest non-profit & 15th largest employer
- RSIs Spring Glen Retirement Community 2003 was the first in NC to specifically provide retirement services to individuals with IDD.
ABOUT SPRING GLEN RETIREMENT COMMUNITY:
- Ideal Staff to Resident Ratio: 6 staff to 15 residents
- Holistic Approach to Healthcare: Spring Glen staff engage with residents to provide quality social connections/interactions in addition to providing quality medical care
- Relaxed/Low-Stress Atmosphere: Engage in fun activities with residents in between providing nursing duties
- Modernized Approach/Environmental Impact: RSI uses electronic documentation and reporting (Therap) to streamline communication enhance quality of services and reduce paperwork/environmental impact.
- Quality Training/Investment in employee future: Access to well trained knowledgeable and supportive supervisors on-site and on-call promotes a healthy learning environment providing opportunities to develop and maintain skills. Medication administration practices procedures and training are provided.

Supervisor Job Summary:
1) Coordinate the development of residents ongoing daily schedules within a group home setting according to their Individual Support Plans.
2) Provide support and supervision of RSI residents to lead self-directed lives and to participate fully in their home and community environments.
3) Create a hospitable and professional work environment and function as a positive role model for residents and staff.
4) Promote health safety and wellness of all residents.
5) Provide supervision to employees including hiring and evaluating staff.
6) Promote RSIs Mission Vision Values and Policies & Procedures.
7) Ensure proper care and maintenance of assigned building grounds and vehicle.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in a human service related field and at least two years of supervised experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities supervisory experience and a valid drivers license.
OR
Bachelors Degree in a field other than one related to developmental disabilities and at least four years of supervised experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities supervisory experience and a valid drivers license.
This full-time position is eligible for a hiring BONUS of up to $2000 to be paid in three installments:
- $400 within 90 days of your hire date
- $600 after completing both a successful introductory period evaluation and 6 months of employment.
- $1000 after 1 year of hire date
