Job Summary
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Participates as key contributor to Web application support including setting priorities for the Web project & activity queue. Liaisons and identifies opportunities for local customers; translates business needs into specifications for development; works with the delivery team to develop new websites and web applications.
Provides general web support and enhancements to Web applications. Manages publication development and maintenance processes for applications
Manage Information Asset reviews to ensure that all relevant policies standards and guidelines are met and documented appropriately; this includes Information Protection Records Retention Copyright permissions and other audit documentation as needed. Collaborate with others in the team related to Web Policies.
Coordinates the development and support of web applications and interfaces. Contributes creative ideas and participates in discussions to identify web & application opportunities for standardization and consolidation.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or other relevant fields
Excellent customer focus communication skills and results-orientation
>4 years experience as a web application developer in the IT industry
Good knowledge in current web services SSRS and SSIS
Good understanding of relational databases (Oracle SQL Server)
Technical skills (e.g. Web development FrontPage HTML Javascript etc.) with some business analysis / project management skills
Preferred skills: Unix scripting C#
