Intern Mobile Developer

This role is part of our Experience & Engineering team based in the Netherlands. We combine our skills in developing future-ready technical solutions with our expertise in creating beautiful designs to deliver exceptional and engaging digital experiences that build lasting relationships with our clients like Gant Inter Milan and Just Eat Takeaway.

JOB PURPOSE

During this internship youll hit the ground running as if youre the Usain Bolt of mobile development.

Youll be part of the Technology Campus of DEPT which is our talent program that molds you into becoming the best of the best. Through professional training interactive workshops about the latest technology and intensive 1-on-1 guidance from the best developers this program ensures that you wont turn into the designated coffee supplier or have to start an involuntary love affair with the printer.

Please note: to be eligible for this internship you are required to be living and studying in the Netherlands.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Bringing designs to life on all kinds of different devices in collaboration with colleagues from a 27-inch desktop screen to a smartphone or smartwatch;
• Work with Kotlin or Swift. You dont have to be able to code fluently yet but being acquainted with these terms is a big plus.
• Work as a full-fledged and indispensable member of the project teams with A-list clients such as Inter Milan ARTIS and the Mauritshuis.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Can hold a conversation in technical English;
• Have a great portfolio / GitHub that we would like to receive with your application;
• Cant stop learning new languages in your spare time;
• Have knowledge about Swift or Kotlin;
• Maybe even already work as a part-time developer;
• Have an affinity with mobile and UX technology;

Hard Requirements

• You are enrolled in a Dutch university for the entire duration of the internship.
• Availability of 5 days per week (40 hours) from September 2026 for a duration of 5 months.
• Youre confident in English whether youre writing presenting or just chatting with the team.
