Senior SAP IS-U Developer (Device Management)

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP IS-U Developer to join our team in Amsterdam. This role is ideal for an analytical problem-solver with strong logical reasoning skills who enjoys working on complex systems and wants to specialize in a future-proof SAP solution within the energy sector.
You will contribute to the development of a billing system used by millions of customers to gain insights into their energy consumption and costs. The energy market is constantly evolvingwith changes such as price caps and dynamic contractsso innovation and adaptability are key.
Working within an Agile team you will help maintain and enhance smart SAP processes while also developing new solutions for B2C customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze design and develop solutions within SAP IS-U using ABAP.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of billing and device management processes.
- Work within an Agile delivery environment with end-to-end responsibility for development tasks.
- Design and implement new features and enhancements for customer-facing energy solutions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to improve system performance and functionality.
- Ensure solutions are scalable reliable and aligned with business requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10 years of experience in SAP development.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP IS-U.
- Solid experience with Energy Data Management (EDM).
- Strong ABAP development expertise.
- Excellent analytical and logical reasoning skills.
- Structured accurate and detail-oriented working style.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Passion for solving complex problems and learning new technologies.
Work Environment
- Hybrid working model: 12 days per week in the Amsterdam office with flexibility to work remotely the rest of the week.
- Collaborative Agile team environment focused on innovation and continuous improvement.
