Location: Ithaca NY (14850)
Schedule: 4 Shifts per Week 10 Hours per Shift
Compensation:
Local Pay: $2437 Weekly
Travel Pay: $3060 Weekly
Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to support diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures. The RN will collaborate closely with physicians and the care team to provide safe high-quality patient-centered care before during and after procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assess patients and assist physicians during cardiac and vascular procedures
Provide pre-procedure intra-procedure and post-procedure nursing care
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and prioritize care needs
Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care activities
Document patient care accurately in accordance with clinical standards
Support evidence-based nursing practices and quality improvement initiatives
Deliver patient-centered care aligned with professional nursing standards
Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Experience
Cath Lab experience required
Experience supporting cardiac and vascular procedures
Cardiac Cath Lab (CCL) experience required
Critical care experience highly preferred
Neuro procedure experience preferred
Skills & Systems
Strong clinical assessment and procedural support skills
Experience with EPIC and Sensis systems strongly preferred
Education
Required:
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
Preferred:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Certifications & Licensure
Required:
Active RN License (State License or Compact License)
BLS American Heart Association (AHA)
ACLS American Heart Association (AHA)
Telemetry certification
