Job Description:
The Clinical Supervisor provides leadership and oversight for the nursing and clinical support team delivering patient-facing clinical support services within the Care Clinic. The position is responsible for supervising coordinating and ensuring the quality and consistency of clinical support services delivered in coordination with licensed providers and in accordance with evidence-based standards grant requirements and regulatory expectations.
Responsibilities of the position include supporting continuous improvement of nursing and clinical support services; developing supervising and ensuring the competence of the clinical team; ensuring compliance with accreditation and grant requirements as they apply to clinical service delivery; supporting effective use of clinical resources; providing direct patient care as appropriate; and coordinating patient care activities with providers and interdisciplinary team members.
Levels of care range from basic first aid/treatment to assessment of patients planning care and evaluating the effectiveness of treatment measures. Ages of patients served spans the spectrum of the life cycle.
Care will be directed at assessing diagnosing and treating human responses to perceived actual or potential physical or psychological problems recognizing that each age group has unique developmental characteristics influencing the approach that should be utilized in caring for these patients.
Minimum Qualifications:
Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
Previous experience with accreditation including the Joint Commission preferred.
Recent clinical experience in the care of people living with HIV preferred.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
