Role Summary:
- This is a hybrid role with a mid-shift to night-shift schedule.
- The Senior Human Resources (HR) Analyst plays an essential role in establishing and driving HR programs for the Unisys Philippines Limited (UPL) workforce in Mandaluyong Philippines.
- The Senior HR Analyst will work closely with leaders and associates providing a full spectrum of HR Generalist support including coaching and assistance on employee relations-related matters such as company policy entitlements onboarding performance management talent management career planning employee engagement and organizational change management.
- The Senior HR Analyst will work closely with other members of the Asia Pacific HR team to undertake HR-related projects from planning through to implementation.
Key Accountabilities:
- Administer a variety of HR programs and functions including but not limited to onboarding benefits management employee engagement and offboarding in addition to cyclical HR programs such as performance management salary planning and succession planning.
- Provide second level of support to associates and leaders on all HR-related queries and concerns offering guidance and support in a timely and empathetic manner. Escalates issues further if necessary.
- Implement and review HR policies and programs to reflect best practices and legal requirements. Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations staying updated on legal changes that may impact the organization.
- Lead investigations into workplace issues and possible company policy violations through the proper implementation of due process which may include show-cause issuance facilitation of administrative hearing and delivery of corrective action plans. Representing the company at mediation or external meeting regarding ER cases as required.
- Partner with leaders to identify assess and facilitate development opportunities for talent through continuous coaching and regular multi-faceted consultations and discussions.
- Work with global leaders and management teams to understand overall business objectives and apply solutions to enhance operational performance.
- Engage with Global HR CoEs to support country-specific outcomes as required including HRSS Talent Acquisition Global Rewards Global Mobility
- Undertake varied project and change management initiatives which may involve planning driving implementing and managing the programs.
- Manage and maintain confidential employee records and documentation.
- Generate and prepare reports as required.
Key Requirements
- Apply company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
- Provide problem resolution for HR-related issues that may be non-standard within defined practices and procedures or that may require a review of a variety of factors.
- Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
- Builds productive internal and external working relationships.
- Normally receives general instructions on routine work detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
Required Experience:
- 5 years practical experience in a generalist HR role with increasing levels of responsibility
- Highly organized and self-sufficient
- Solid understanding of local labor laws & confidence in running end-to-end ER/IR issues including grievances investigations performance management and redundancies.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills to engage with a broad range of departments leaders and managers.
- Capability to develop and lead HR related matters and initiatives.
- Project management skills or the ability to effectively manage time including ability to self-prioritize and re-prioritize if required.
- Willingness to take ownership of tasks identify issues and propose well-articulated solution options.
- Proficiency in Excel Word PowerPoint and other tools in Microsoft Office program
- Excellent verbal written and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of Workday is a plus.
