Cannabis Trimming Technician

Groundworks Services is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Trimming Technician to support our award winning Cultivation team with post-harvest processing. This role focuses on precise trimming quality control and preparing product for sale or further processing while maintaining compliance and minimizing waste.

What Youll Do

• Trim cured cannabis using an on-the-stem method while meeting established production quotas
• Prepare freshly harvested cannabis for the curing process
• Accurately weigh and record trim weights using data tracking systems
• Inspect product and visually identify common cannabis-related pathogens
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace during post-harvest operations
• Support broader cultivation operations including cleaning and cross-functional tasks

What You Bring

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality product
• Ability to stay focused while performing repetitive tasks for extended periods
• Basic proficiency with spreadsheets or data tracking software (e.g. Excel)
• Integrity reliability and professionalism
• Effective communication and time management skills
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining compliance standards
• Marijuana Handler Permit (must be obtained prior to start of employment)
• Must remain compliant with all legal and company regulations required for working in the cannabis industry

Applicants must be at least 21 years old due to state cannabis regulations and company compliance policies.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand walk sit and kneel daily in production environments with concrete or hard-surface floors
• Ability to push pull and carry up to 50 pounds multiple times per day
• Ability to maintain focus in environments with background noise and activity
• Ability to wear required PPE including safety glasses and masks
• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods when required
