- Arizona Administrative (Principal) Certification
- Three (3) to five (5) years of successful K-8 teaching experience in public schools

The Principal of Immersive 9 at Arredondo serves as the instructional and cultural architect of a PK8 gifted academy designed to provide personalized immersive and academically rigorous learning experiences.
This leader is responsible for building and sustaining a high-performing learning environment that integrates immersive instructional practices advanced academics and performance-based learning. The Principal ensures that innovation is thoughtfully integrated into daily practice while maintaining operational excellence strong systems coherence and measurable academic growth for every learner.
The Principal reports to the Superintendent or designee and works in close partnership with district curriculum innovation and operational teams to ensure alignment with the districts strategic direction
Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Vision & Strategic Execution
- Lead the implementation and continuous refinement of the Immersive 9 model.
- Translate district strategy into coherent campus-level systems and practices.
- Ensure alignment with gifted education best practices and advanced academic frameworks.
- Serve as a visible ambassador for the campus within the district and broader community.
- Instructional Leadership & Academic Excellence
- Build and sustain a culture of rigorous inquiry-driven instruction.
- Ensure consistent implementation of district curriculum and instructional planning systems.
- Monitor instructional fidelity student growth data and formative assessment systems.
- Develop Instructional Experience Designers (Teachers) to facilitate immersive learning project-based learning and interdisciplinary experiences.
- Establish high expectations for academic performance creativity and critical thinking.
- Immersive Learning & Innovation Integration
- Oversee the implementation of immersive learning environments (e.g. simulation labs experiential learning studios and emerging instructional technologies).
- Ensure technology enhances instruction while preserving the central role of the Instructional Experience Designer (Teacher).
- Develop systems for continuous refinement of innovative practices.
- Balance creativity and experimentation with measurable academic outcomes.
- Culture Talent & Team Development
- Recruit develop and retain high-performing Instructional Experience Designers (Teachers) who demonstrate strong instructional expertise and a growth mindset.
