Job Summary
Job Summary (List Format): Principal Systems Analyst / Engineer
- Serve as the primary technical lead for deploying and supporting large-scale Real-Time Information Systems and distributed digital infrastructure.
- Manage integration of new capital deployments with maintenance of legacy vendor hardware to ensure seamless backend and endpoint operation.
- Lead full project lifecycle activities including creation of Project Life Cycle Management (PLM) artifacts such as business process maps functional requirements and technical specifications.
- Oversee deployment and operations & maintenance (O&M) support for digital signage and information components including legacy hardware/software.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware (physical) and software (OS Application Database Network) deficiencies for high system availability.
- Collaborate in a SAFe Agile environment managing user stories test plans and scripts through Jira and Confluence.
- Act as a subject matter expert and technical advocate confidently presenting system architecture and project roadmaps to teams and stakeholders.
- Manage and automate Linux-based environments including network configurations (DNS HTTP SNMP) and firewall protocols (iptables/firewalld).
- Develop and execute test scripts for end-to-end quality assurance particularly across distributed messaging platforms (Kafka RabbitMQ).
- Utilize strong technical skills in Java Spring Boot and modern frontend frameworks (Angular or React).
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of Linux OS cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP) and network security protocols.
- Apply expertise in troubleshooting both software and physical hardware in field or facility environments.
- Use tools such as Microsoft Office 365 (Project Visio) ServiceNow BitBucket and Git for project and version control.
- Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills adept at supporting both modern and legacy technologies.
- Communicate clearly and effectively translating technical requirements into business process maps and comprehensive presentations for stakeholders.
