Where you come in:

• Be the champion of Procurement policy to drive compliance by reviewing system transactions using critical thinking
• Focus on the India Market with provisions to support other countries in reviewing validating and approving Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders. Ensure all documentation attachments are complete information is accurate and compliance with Procurement Policies is maintained.
• You will collaborate with Strategic Sourcing team IT system administrators Accounts Payable Internal Audit teams and Procurement Consultants to support continuous improvement initiatives and resolve daily operational issues including system integration error related concerns with various systems.
• Responsible for identifying evaluating and onboarding suppliers to meet organizational procurement needs. Ensures cost-effectiveness quality and compliance with company policies.
• Responsible for negotiating supplier contracts to ensure favorable terms cost savings and compliance with company policies. Works closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to achieve strategic procurement objectives while mitigating risks.
• You analyze all procurement activity and identify opportunities for Contracts Punchouts and Supplier Catalogs
• You have experience in managing all key procurement operational activities including supplier onboarding/offboarding processes negotiating payment terms with suppliers and supplier payments
• You can create and maintain procurement process flows and lead process improvement projects
• You ensure that all procurement activities meet the compliance requirements and standards
• You are able to prepare presentations and can confidently present your story to senior stakeholders regularly
• You facilitate procurement training sessions and regular office hours with procurement system users to ensure understanding of policies and processes are understood by the users.
• You will Support bid process and contribute to contract development.
• You will coordinate and assist the Sourcing Manager with sourcing requirements relevant to IT categories (Software Hardware and Services) and negotiate favorable rates with Suppliers as and when needed.

What makes you successful:

• You must have a Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a relevant field plus experience in Administration and Accounting.
• You are willing to work during US working hours (Pacific Standard Time).
• You are fluent in English and possess strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey messages confidently and decisively at all levels of the organization.
• You have a strong end-to-end procurement background with extensive training in procurement management. Preferably with Strategic Sourcing background.
• Your knowledge on the procurement side of manufacturing sales and distributorship industry of medical devices IT facilities operations is a huge plus.
• You have extensive experience with business applications including ERP systems (Oracle SAP) and eProcurement platforms (preferably Coupa) with added familiarity in Third-Party Risk Management and Contract Lifecycle Management systems
• You are proficient in MS Office (Outlook Excel Word PowerPoint) project management tools like Smartsheet Flowchart software and Process mapping tools.
• You have strong written and verbal communication skills and can confidently and can convey ideas clearly confidently and effectively across all levels of the organization.
