Job Summary

Emergency Veterinarian Havelock NC

A well-established emergency veterinary hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Emergency Veterinarian to join its dedicated team. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality urgent medical and surgical care in a fast-paced supportive environment while working with modern equipment and an experienced clinical team.

Responsibilities

Provide emergency medical and surgical care for small animal patients
Perform diagnostic evaluations and develop treatment plans
Utilize advanced diagnostic tools such as digital radiography ultrasound and in-house laboratory equipment
Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding diagnoses treatment options and follow-up care
Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to deliver high-quality patient care
Coordinate with referring veterinarians to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications:

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
Eligibility for veterinary licensure in North Carolina.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Compassionate team-oriented approach to patient care.
