The SN- EOF Pre-Junior Summer Enrichment program is designed to familiarize rising juniors with crucial clinical experiences laying the foundation for their upcoming Fall term nursing courses. The program concentrates on cultivating clinical knowledge highlighting the professional nursing role refining communication skills fostering therapeutic nurse-patient relations and applying practical health-specific knowledge with a specific focus on patient safety. Program Timeline & Commitment: This position begins with a required instructor orientation in June followed by preparation and training meetings throughout the month. The Pre-Junior Summer Enrichment Program will run from Monday June 29 2026 through Wednesday August 5 2026 . Support Instructors are expected to be available for the full duration of the program including instructional activities clinical simulation sessions and end-of-program responsibilities. Program Academic Components: SN- EOF is currently seeking to hire three support instructors each tasked with covering a specific academictopic.T he hired support instructor will specialize in one of the following areas: Fundamentals of Nursing Health Assessment Pathophysiology & Pharmacotherapeutics Responsibilities: Support Instruction Each of the three Pre-Junior Enrichment Program Support Instructors will lead and instruct a cohort of 20 students in one of the designated academic areas: Fundamentals of Nursing Health Assessment or Pathophysiology & Pharmacotherapeutics. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Implement School of Nursing EOF philosophy curriculum and course objectives in the classroom and clinical teaching for assigned courses ensuring responsibility for program outcomes. Fundamentals of Nursing and Health Assessment Instructors will plan and oversee nursing students clinical experiences in simulated laboratory settings providing direct/indirect supervision and evaluation. Serve as a positive professional role model fostering peer-to-peer experiential learning and contributing to students professional/social development. Communicate current nursing-specific clinical policies procedures and expectations. Develop engaging clinical assignments aligned with students knowledge skill competency and learning needs. Provide documented feedback to students based on course outcomes.
