We are seeking a talented Technical Writer I to join our team in Bangalore Karnataka India. This is a pivotal role within a company at the forefront of scientific innovation where your expertise will directly support the delivery of advanced bioscience solutions to customers this position you will be responsible for developing managing and continuously improving high-quality technical documentation for our industry-leading bioscience products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D product management quality and regulatory to translate complex scientific and technical information into clear accurate and user-focused content.

In this position you will:

  • Develop write and edit user guides manuals and other technical content for Thermo Fisher Scientific products.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts project managers and other collaborators to collect information and guarantee the accuracy and completeness of documents.
  • Ensure all documents align with company standards business unit requirements and industry standard processes.
  • Review and revise existing documentation to improve clarity consistency and overall quality.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to deadlines ensuring timely delivery of high-quality documentation.
  • Maintain a repository of technical guides and templates for future use.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Bioscience or a related field or equivalent experience. An advanced degree in Biosciences will be preferred.
  • Proven experience in technical writing preferably within the bioscience or life sciences industry. Certification in technical writing will be considered an asset.
  • Experience with XML/DITA-based authoring tools (e.g. Oxygen XML Editor/Author) and component content management systems (e.g. RWS Tridion Docs or similar) is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex scientific information into clear concise documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to produce accurate high-quality documents
  • Familiarity with industry-specific terminology and standards.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint etc.) Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities work under pressure and meet established deadlines.
  • Willingness to complete required training and continuously update technical knowledge and skills
