Job Summary
Position Overview
dormakaba is seeking a QA Embedded Intern based in Indianapolis. This role will report directly to the Engineering Manager. The QA Embedded Intern is responsible for electronics testing and automating tests using jigs and simulation frameworks.

What you will do
- Participate in summer project work focused on enhancing employee experience development programs or workforce processes
- Schedule routine check-in meetings with your supervisor to monitor the advancement of assigned projects
- Attend weekly Lunch and Learn sessions where you will learn more about a Business Topic of the Week! Past topics include Presentation Skills Environmental Health and Safety Our Products Finance 101 etc.
- Attend meetings both within and beyond your designated role to broaden your engagement
What we require
- Hands-on experience with smallelectronics; for example: robotics competitionsengineering projects etc.
- Experience writing code in PythonC C or Java
- Pursuing a bachelors or masters degree with anticipated graduation date of December 2026 through May 2029
- Availability to work full-time onsite 40 hours per week for 10-12 weeks (May - August 2026)
What we prefer
- Experience with Jenkins
- Experience with C code unit test frameworks
- Experience with automated test frameworks of any kind
- Experience with Git
- SAP knowledge
