Job Description
As a Security Officer - Flex Armed Patrol in Rocklin CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more. You will assist with access control observe and report unusual activity and provide clear communication and customer service to employees and visitors. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific policies completing access control tasks and supporting security-related procedures at a utilities location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings parking areas gates and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious conditions.
- Respond to alarms incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
- Monitor and document facility activity including vehicle and pedestrian traffic deliveries and contractor presence and complete detailed reports for security-related events.
- Assist with security-related inspections of key areas such as utility equipment yards and/or substations and report hazards damage or unusual conditions to site management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 1 or more years of armed security-related and/or law enforcement and/or military experience.
- Have 1 or more years of security-related experience.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
