Job Title:

Senior Portfolio Manager: Credit Solutions.

Qualification:

Relevant bachelors degree in finance Accounting Economics and investments

Strong undergraduate/postgraduate results.

Desirable to be a CA(SA) with clients at audit in financial services; and/or CFA charter holder and/or strong undergraduate/postgraduate results.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years experience in credit portfolio management or related roles.

minimum of 3 years current experience specific to CA(SA)/ minimum of 5 years current experience specific to CFA charter-holders/ relevant post-university full-time work experience in banking asset management or credit/private equity or credit rating agencies.

Experience in monitoring credit portfolios investment grade high yields structured credit strategies and managing associated risks.

Analyze individual borrower credit risk and loan portfolio performance.

Prepare high-quality reports and presentations to clients investment team and credit committee where/when required.

Conducting detailed performance reviews of the credit portfolio to identify trends risks and opportunities.

Ensure relevant training requirements specific to regulatory and development matters are adhered to annually CPD Programme plan is drafted signed off and adhered to annually.

Proficiency in credit risk modelling financial analysis tools and the MS Office Suite

Experience managing multiple credit portfolios is required along with a solid understanding of economic trends and regulatory frameworks.
