Data Migration Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end data migration activities including planning extraction transformation validation and loading of data across systems

• Analyse source and target system data structures to define mapping transformation rules and migration requirements

• Develop and execute data migration strategies plans and schedules aligned with project timelines

• Perform data profiling cleansing and validation to ensure data accuracy completeness and integrity

• Collaborate with business stakeholders technical teams and SMEs to define data requirements and resolve data issues

• Coordinate and support migration testing activities including unit testing system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT)

• Identify and manage data migration risks issues and dependencies and implement mitigation strategies

• Support cutover planning migration execution and post-migration validation and reconciliation

• Maintain data migration documentation including mapping specifications migration logs and reconciliation reports

• Ensure compliance with data governance security and privacy standards throughout migration activities

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in data migration data integration or data implementation projects

• Experience analysing and working with structured data across databases data warehouses or cloud platforms (e.g. solutions hosted on Microsoft cloud environments)

• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction analysis validation and reconciliation

• Experience with data migration and ETL tools (e.g. Informatica SSIS Talend or Azure Data Factory)

• Strong understanding of data mapping transformation logic and data quality principles

• Experience supporting system implementations such as ERP CRM or enterprise platforms

• Ability to perform data validation reconciliation and troubleshooting of migration issues

• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with ability to work across business and technical teams

• Experience working in Agile Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments

• Strong analytical problem-solving and documentation skills with high attention to detail

Clearance Requirement:

• Security clearance is mandatory for this role.
