Job Summary
C.A. Murren is seeking an experienced Site Procurement Manager to oversee and execute all procurement activities for projects located at the Savannah River Site (SRS) in Aiken SC. This role provides operational leadership for the acquisition of materials equipment and subcontracted services to support field operations and project schedules.
This position reports directly to Site Leadership and works closely with Project Management Field Operations Engineering and Corporate Procurement to ensure timely cost-effective and compliant purchasing activities that align with project objectives and contractual requirements.
The position will be located at SRS in Aiken SC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day procurement operations in support of site construction activities.
- Coordinate purchasing of materials equipment and subcontracted services to meet project schedules.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Solicit bids evaluate proposals and negotiate pricing and delivery terms.
- Issue and manage purchase orders and subcontract agreements.
- Monitor procurement budgets and assist with cost control efforts.
- Track material deliveries and resolve supply chain issues proactively.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Field Leadership to forecast procurement needs.
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and applicable DOE project guidelines.
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation and reporting.
- Support internal reviews and audits as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Construction Management or related field preferred.
- 5 years of procurement experience in heavy civil industrial or construction environments required.
- Experience supporting federal or DOE-related projects preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction materials subcontract administration and supply chain logistics.
- Experience negotiating vendor contracts and pricing agreements.
- Working knowledge of procurement software or ERP systems preferred.
- Strong organizational communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced site-based construction environment.

- Valid drivers license
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screening
