TITLE: BHS Stipend Opportunity: Mental Health Events Coordinator
REPORTS TO: Senior Director of Behavioral Health Services Department or their designee
STIPEND POSITION OVERVIEW: The Behavioral Health Services Department (BHS) seeks to develop a pool of current BHS School Psychologists to create to coordinate Mental Health events within the department within the district and at schools.
This opportunity will occur primarily from January 1 2026 to June 1 2026 as needed up to 50 hours
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Following grant expectations this position will be responsible for:
- Communications: develop all communications about MH awareness events and communicate with BPS families to promote events.
- Development: Curate and distribute a variety of mental health resources.
- Implementation: Planning and implementing MH awareness events both at the district level and school level
- Dissemination: Distribute information and outcomes of the MH events
- Materials: Order organize and disseminate all materials for the events
- Scheduling: scheduling the event finding physical space or creating a Zoom link for the training and sharing logistics of the training session with the organizer(s).
- Coordination: Communicating and coordinating with all MH staff who are hosting bilingual events at their schools.
- Multilingual Committee: Collaborate with the multilingual committee to ensure that resources are appropriately translated prior to dissemination
- Data: Maintain and report attendance share data and presentation information about the training with the organizer(s) and the Senior Director of Behavioral Health Services
The stipend will be paid $59.39/hour for a maximum of 50 hours and once the responsibilities are completed.
QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED:
- Currently working in Boston Public Schools;
- Appropriate school psychologist licensure.
