Qualifications:
The Special Funding Program Advisor will:
- Coordinate and track budgets for federal state and local grant-funded programs.
- Maintain spreadsheets and databases to monitor allocations expenditures and the proper use of funds.
- Manage contracts consultants and personnel actions (such as board resolutions) related to grant initiatives.
- Ensure all programs follow New Jersey education laws district policies and specific grant regulations.
- Review financial records and conduct internal checks to ensure adherence to federal requirements and internal controls.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation service plans and records for state/federal monitoring visits and audits.
- Prepare financial summaries statistical analyses and reports required for grant applications.
- Assist in creating and implementing data collection systems to streamline reporting across departments.
- Maintain the confidentiality of district financial and program data.
- Facilitate the mandatory consultation process between the district and nonpublic school officials.
- Coordinate with vendors and departments to ensure equitable services (Title I II III and IV) are delivered to eligible nonpublic schools.
- Track nonpublic school allocations and expenditures to ensure compliance with federal equitable services requirements
