Due to the completely different operating areas of our operations at the site you will be confronted with different focal points in your daily work especially in the area of process safety.

Responsibilities:

1. Implementation maintenance and further development of our processes and standards in the field of plant safety taking into account legal and corporate requirements.

2. Advising and supporting the plant in preparing hazard analyses using the HAZOP/PAAG method in developing explosion protection concepts and in preparing assessments regarding machine safety.

3. Contact person for process safety issues in the context of investment projects.

4. As an Improvement Engineer you will also support part of your time in the implementation of projects for the further development of the site. These can be technical projects within the plant projects to improve site processes or digitization projects to increase site efficiency.

1. Successfully completed scientific or technical studies (Dipl. Ing Bachelor or Masters degree) as well as relevant professional experience in process safety.

2. 5 years of professional experience in the field of SHE with a focus on process safety.

3. Sound knowledge in the areas of Process engineering as well as plant safety hazardous incident and environmental law.

4. A high degree of initiative and sense of responsibility as well as communication and ability to cooperate and work in a team.

5. Experience with risk assessment and hazard analysis.

good independent analytical and solution-oriented way of working.

7. Very good knowledge of German and English both written and spoken is a must have.
