As a Security Officer - Patrol Team Lead in Los Angeles CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an education location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents and support access control while assisting students faculty staff and visitors with professionalism. You will document observations communicate clearly and respond to concerns as part of a team that values integrity teamwork and a caring culture. Allied Universal is agile reliable and innovative.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to students faculty staff and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings common areas parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify irregular conditions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with access issues disturbances medical calls and/or facility concerns per post orders.
• Monitor and/or control access at designated campus locations verify identification and/or authorization as required and help direct visitors to appropriate destinations.
• Document activities incidents and observations in written reports and/or electronic logs and communicate pertinent information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of 2 years of security experience.
• Have supervisory experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• Have a guard card and/or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
