Job Summary
Domestic Considerations: This is a national Army Reserve appointment the Regiment currently has rank-ranged OF2-3 JPANs spanning across the ARRC 1UKXX 3UKXX 1MN FAB the DEG 7X 16X 12X 1DRSX GLOs HQ GUARDIAN MDOG and 11X. These JPANs are to be filled with OF2 in preference to OF3; the latter should not apply. The minimum required annual commitment is 19 RSDs but experience has shown that 30 days are required to be effective in the role. The incumbent must be prepared attend monthly team updates (virtual) and to attend training events in UK and overseas. Continuity is key to developing a relationship with their chosen formation and this post is not suitable for an officer who can only spend one year in post. The successful applicant must deploy on exercise with their chosen formation and bpt support other formations as required. The applicant will be assigned to a team based on their geographic location/preferences availability KSEB and in support of the Regiments priorities.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide staff support to various formations for operations and training.
2. Build a relationship with Field Army Formations in order to provide continuity.
5. In conjunction with the SO1 of the assigned Formation HQ Team ensure you are adequately trained and fit for role.
6. Be prepared to assist with UK and overseas operations and training as required.
7. Assist with the development and delivery of unit training as required.
8. Provide ad hoc assistance to the wider Army as required on areas such as employer engagement MS boards staff support and training.
9. Deploy on operations and training in support of various formations
