The Team:

S&P is seeking an experienced & motivated Analyst to support the routine data reconciliation function within the Compliance Services group. The individual will be responsible for designated client funds covered by the Compliance Services outsourcing platform. Additional responsibilities include partnering with other S&P Markit Intelligence business lines around client resolution and satisfaction. Finally this employee will partner directly with our Service Delivery Managers from the Managed Services team to drive a client focused agenda.

The Impact:

The Compliance Services platform is experiencing significant organic growth in business from existing clients and targeting to bring on additional business from new sales. Given the specialized aspect to the service proper team coverage and subject matter knowledge on WSO data processing and CLOs is critical to delivering premium support.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine reconciliation of key data points with trustees and research variances
  • Review compliance test results presented on monthly trustee reports and research variances
  • Monitor cash collectionpaymentand reserve accounts to ensure activity and transactions are processed properly
  • Manage inquiriesregardingcollateral attributes and transactions andfacilitatethe workflow andtimelyresolution between internal groups
  • Work with WSO Compliance programmers on applicable updates to models and test calculations
  • Working with junior team members to ensure client deliverables are met
  • Undertake training of the wider team
  • Complete special projects as assigned

WhatWereLooking For:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience (Finance Accounting or related field preferred)
  • Experience in high-yield orleveragedloan financial market
  • Experience with Wall Street Office Product Suite - preferred
  • Strong PC skills Excel and other Microsoft Office Product

Commercial awareness

  • Banking or investment industry experience
  • Experience with cash or position reconciliation preferred
  • Customer relations experience

Communication:

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Prepare various reports and metrics needed by internal management or special client requests

Teamwork:

  • Must be able to work well with others in a team environment.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior team members while ensuring high standards of service delivery.
