About The Opportunity
Were hiring a dependable motivated Assistant Store Manager to support daily operations and help lead a high-performing store team. If youre a strong communicator enjoy coaching others and thrive in a fast-paced environment this role offers excellent opportunities to grow your retail leadership career.
What Youll Do
Leadership & Team Support
- Assist with supervising coaching and training staff
- Support recruitment onboarding and performance management
- Help promote a positive engaged team culture
Store Operations
- Support daily store operations including opening and closing duties
- Manage store communication (email updates task assignments)
- Work closely with the Store Manager on staffing operational needs and sales goals
Customer Service & Compliance
- Check ID and ensure all alcohol sales meet Alberta regulations
- Deliver friendly knowledgeable customer service
- Maintain a clean safe and welcoming store environment
Inventory & Financial Support
- Assist with inventory counts ordering and receiving
- Review reports and documentation for accuracy
- Help support store financial targets and controllables
What Were Looking For
- 2 years of retail experience
- 2 years in a supervisory role
- ProServe certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/walk for most of the shift
- Strong communication reliability and teamwork skills
- Availability for evenings weekends and holidays
