About The Opportunity

Were hiring a dependable motivated Assistant Store Manager to support daily operations and help lead a high-performing store team. If youre a strong communicator enjoy coaching others and thrive in a fast-paced environment this role offers excellent opportunities to grow your retail leadership career.

What Youll Do

Leadership & Team Support

Assist with supervising coaching and training staff
Support recruitment onboarding and performance management
Help promote a positive engaged team culture

Store Operations

Support daily store operations including opening and closing duties
Manage store communication (email updates task assignments)
Work closely with the Store Manager on staffing operational needs and sales goals

Customer Service & Compliance

Check ID and ensure all alcohol sales meet Alberta regulations
Deliver friendly knowledgeable customer service
Maintain a clean safe and welcoming store environment

Inventory & Financial Support

Assist with inventory counts ordering and receiving
Review reports and documentation for accuracy
Help support store financial targets and controllables

What Were Looking For

2 years of retail experience
2 years in a supervisory role
ProServe certification (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/walk for most of the shift
Strong communication reliability and teamwork skills
Availability for evenings weekends and holidays
