Di cosa ti occuperai What Youll Do
We are currently seeking a field service technician to join our Italian team.
The Enovis repair and service team provides medical equipment service and support to direct customers and to partners worldwide. The field service technician in Italy coordinates various tasks such as troubleshooting and repairs service contracts preventive maintenance devices loaner and hotline technical support for the country. The field service technician will be part of the international repair and service team (about 30 people located in other 8 countries) and will report to the Repair and Service Manager based in France.
The Service Technician will be part of the local team and will be supporting sales team and will be performing visits to customers and repairs of products in the workshop or at customer places (Hospital Medical centers etc.)
The main targets of this position are to develop aftersales activities in the region and achieve customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan schedule and perform visits to customers
Provide technical support and respond to customer request for medical devices
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction provided for the service and support to all products
Support the team to manage all responsibilities including compliance and documentation requirements
Perform failure finding on returned devices or on site repairs
Perform mechanical/electrical repairs and functional testing
Perform paperwork for traceability of the repairs (Oracle Agile) and for shipping documents is needed (customer reports delivery documents)
Manage the spare parts inventory for Italy
Assist the sales team on request and documentation preparation for QA
Cooperate with the hotline support and customer service teams
Support on analysis reports and provide monthly KPIs
Perform others duties assigned as needed
Requirements:
Technical education
Good level of English is mandatory
Capability to troubleshoot test repair and service medicaldevices
Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision
Good organizational skills to work on multi-tasks with sense of urgency
Good analytical communication and reporting skills
Experience with diagnostic tools and with basic hand and power tools
Awareness of electrical and mechanical health and safety issues and rules
Self-organized problem-solving attentive motivated and team oriented
Field based from Milan where the Italian team is located. 50% at the workshop/50% travelling.
Frequent travel in Italy - 50% of the time. Some international travel will also be required (infrequent)
Must be willing and able to travel overnight.
