Responsibilities
As an Energy Systems Manager you will play a pivotal role in shaping how they understand and plan for power availability across our operating regions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining real-time tracking tools and heat maps to monitor power availability in key markets.
- Analysing grid capacity transmission constraints and infrastructure developments to inform site selection and strategy.
- Providing data-driven insights through scenario modeling forecasting and risk assessments.
- Supporting grid connection strategies and capacity planning in collaboration with the Energy team.
- Collaborating with strategy development and sustainability teams to integrate grid intelligence into investment decisions.
- Monitoring regulatory changes utility updates and major project activity across the APAC region.
Qualifications
To excel in this role you will bring:
- A degree in Engineering Energy Systems Data Science Mathematics Statistics or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in energy analytics grid planning or infrastructure strategy ideally within data centres utilities or consulting.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools such as Excel Power BI Python or GIS platforms.
- A solid understanding of electricity markets grid infrastructure and regulatory frameworks in the APAC region.
- Clear and confident communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
