The Role:
We are seeking a senior nurse with experience skill and vision to take on this dynamic role. The Nurse Consultant Centralised Services will have a passion for data improving recruitment and strengthening workforce capability. This is an exciting and expanding time in our health environment and this role will showcase clinical expertise and relationship management and support strategic pieces of work across Nursing at Counties Manukau. This is a senior nursing role reporting to the Clinical Nurse Director Practice Policy and Standards. You will play a key role in supporting nursing leaders across the district by providing expert clinical advice leadership and guidance in all aspects of nursing recruitment and retention.
We are seeking an organised and capable candidate with strong relational skills requiring a passion for data management and analysis and demonstrated expertise with Excel. The Nurse Consultant will rely on their strong clinical background to interpret data findings providing recommendations and will need to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders
The Nurse Consultant will be required to exercise critical thinking and advanced problem solving to contribute to the efficiency of all centralised support activities.
Strong networks with nursing leaders across the district will be a significant advantage.
