• Work under the supervision of a department leader manager or licensed professional to complete assigned duties and projects.
• Assist with operational administrative clinical or professional tasks aligned with the interns academic program and the department needs.

9 West This 27 bed unit certified in Advance Hip and Knee from the Joint Commission is the primary Surgery unit for elective Orthopedic spine and joint procedures. They serve as the alternate unit for trauma neurosurgery urology and other surgery and medicine patients.

You will provide nursing care that includes taking the patients blood pressure checking their oxygen levels and temperature as well as assisting patients of all sexes and genders with bathing meals toileting ambulation and other basic needs. The Patient Care Tech/Nursing Assistant role can include one-on-one care of patients on suicide or safety precautions.

What We Require:

Education: Two years of High School required.

Experience: None required.

Licensure certification and/or registration/Life Support: May be required to obtain/maintain BLS.

Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age. Good interpersonal organizational communication and listening skills. Manual dexterity and visual perception. Job requires good hearing clear understandable speech and good finger dexterity.
