Inviting applications for the role of Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist Management Trainee English on site Johannesburg

What youll do here:
Key responsibilities/activities:
Proactively manage the collection of overdue customer accounts in accordance with company credit policies and contractual terms.
Conduct detailed account reconciliations ensuring the accurate allocation of payments and resolution of disputes.
Investigate and resolve queries related to invoices short payments credit notes and disputed transactions.
Prepare and maintain AR ageing reports collection forecasts and risk assessments.
Engage professionally with internal stakeholders including Sales Operations and Customer Service to accelerate issue resolution.
Maintain thorough documentation of all collection activities and support audit requirements.

Key Performance Indicators:
Achievement of monthly collections targets.
Reduction of Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and aged debt (60/90/120 days).
Accuracy and timeliness of account reconciliations.
Resolution of customer disputes within established service-level timelines.
Compliance with internal controls credit policies and audit standards.

Qualifications we seek from you:
Minimum Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Finance Accounting or a related role (preferred).

Preferred Qualification:
Minimum years of demonstrated experience in Accounts Receivable or Collections within a corporate environment.
Strong analytical skills with proven experience in high-volume reconciliations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP ERP system
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with customers at all levels
Knowledge of client portals will be advantageous
Advanced English speaking and writing skills
