Baltimore Country Club is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead capital improvement and infrastructure projects across all Club properties. This role partners with executive leadership consultants and contractors to ensure projects align with the Clubs long-term vision and operational standards.
About Baltimore Country Club
Baltimore Country Club was founded in 1898 and it was a success from the start with 600 members enjoying its 150-acre facility less than five miles from downtown Baltimore. Just one year after opening the Club gained immediate recognition in the golf world by hosting the fifth United States Open Championship. Today the Club is over 3300 members strong with two campuses. It is widely recognized as one of the top 50 country clubs in the nation and top 100 in the world. We are all about the simple truth and doing what is right not what is easy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead capital and infrastructure projects from planning through completion.
- Support leadership with development strategy project prioritization and ROI.
- Manage capital reserve studies and maintain a five-year project outlook.
- Develop and present annual capital budgets with leadership and Board committees.
- Manage architects contractors and consultants.
- Oversee permitting compliance and project risk.
- Track project schedules budgets and performance.
- Communicate project updates and serve as a liaison with Club members regarding capital improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Project Management Construction Management Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of construction project management experience (club resort hospitality or high-end residential preferred).
- Experience with project scheduling software (Primavera MS Project etc.).
- Strong knowledge of construction processes budgeting and scheduling.
- Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
- PMP certification and accounting experience are a plus.
