Software Dev Engineer II, EC2 Networking

Key job responsibilities
* Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive design and bring innovative products and services to market.
* Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.
* Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed.
* Build distributed storage index and query systems that are scalable fault-tolerant low cost and easy to manage/use.
* Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
* Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.

We design develop and maintain the foundational infrastructure that enables businesses of all sizes to run their applications in the cloud. Our engineers solve complex distributed systems challenges while continuously innovating on performance reliability and cost-efficiency. We work across multiple technology stacks to deliver industry-leading virtualization networking and instance management capabilities. - 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 1 years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
- 1 years of designing and developing large-scale multi-tiered multi-threaded embedded or distributed software applications tools systems and services using: C# C Java or Perl experience
- 1 years of Object Oriented Design experience
- Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or a related field
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
