Job Title: Senior Mainframe Developer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mainframe Developer with extensive experience in the banking domain. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mainframe development with a focus on various mainframe components and a solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC). This role requires a proactive individual who is willing to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.

Responsibilities:

Design develop and maintain mainframe applications in the banking sector.
Utilize mainframe components such as SCA MCA JCL and NDM to deliver high-quality solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
Implement and manage SDLC processes to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
Utilize tools such as JIRA Confluence and ServiceNow for project management and documentation.
Conduct troubleshooting and problem-solving activities to resolve technical issues.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback.

Mandatory Skills:

7 years of mainframe development experience in the banking domain.
Proficient in operating systems: Windows UNIX and LINUX.
Experience with RDBMS and Oracle 19C.
Strong knowledge of mainframe components: SCA MCA JCL and NDM.
Very strong understanding of SDLC.
Well-versed with JIRA Confluence and ServiceNow.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies quickly.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in Agile methodologies.
Knowledge of cloud technologies.
Familiarity with DevOps practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
Relevant certifications in mainframe technologies are a plus.
