Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain mainframe applications in the banking sector.
- Utilize mainframe components such as SCA MCA JCL and NDM to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
- Implement and manage SDLC processes to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
- Utilize tools such as JIRA Confluence and ServiceNow for project management and documentation.
- Conduct troubleshooting and problem-solving activities to resolve technical issues.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback.
Mandatory Skills:
- 7 years of mainframe development experience in the banking domain.
- Proficient in operating systems: Windows UNIX and LINUX.
- Experience with RDBMS and Oracle 19C.
- Strong knowledge of mainframe components: SCA MCA JCL and NDM.
- Very strong understanding of SDLC.
- Well-versed with JIRA Confluence and ServiceNow.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies quickly.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in mainframe technologies are a plus.
