Job Summary

The City of North Salt Lake is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Events & Digital Promotion Coordinator. This is a part-time position (up to 29 hours per week) supporting the Citys civic events programs and efforts to reach out to the public through all means of written and electronic communication. This position supports citizen committees volunteers City staff and the public in the Citys efforts to carry out City events and the related communications pursuant to informing the public.

Qualified applicants should have experience and/or college-level coursework in communications public relations marketing graphic design digital media branding creating content for social media platforms and event planning and coordination particularly in public-sector or community-focused settings. An Associates or Bachelors degree in a related field is highly preferred but not required. Compensation is currently $24 per hour and may be adjusted depending on qualifications.

Qualified applicants should have experience in event planning and coordination.
