(HX26-029) Academic Clinical Lecturer Trinity College Dublin

- Fixed Term duration contract (36 months approx.)

- Based in the Academic Department of Palliative Medicine Education & Research Centre Harolds Cross
The primary purpose of this position is to provide undergraduate education and training in palliative medicine to TCD medical students. The post holder will pursue a research interest leading to a higher degree (PhD or MD) and support the other research activities within the Academic Department of Palliative Medicine.
The post holder will engage in undergraduate medical curriculum development co- ordination and teaching and will work closely with the University College Dublin / UCD affiliated Clinical Lecturer.
Essential Requirements
Qualifications:
Hold a recognised postgraduate qualification accepted as an entry point to higher medical training in Palliative Medicine/other medical specialty.
Full registration in the General Specialist or Trainee Specialist register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland (or eligible for such registration)
Experience:
- 3 years post graduate experience
- Experience of providing medical student education and training

Qualifications:
- Experience in Palliative Care
