The successful candidate will assist with the preparation cooking and delivery of a high standard food catering service to patients residents meals-on-wheels staff volunteers internal and external functions and visitors with strict adherence to food safety legislation within the catering department (Central Kitchen Restaurant Coffee Dock ward kitchens/dining rooms) and associated areas. Essential Requirements
Qualifications:
- London City and Guilds 706/1 & 706/2 NCCB or such equivalent qualifications as may be approved by the Minister for Health from time to time* (Evidence of qualification must be submitted with the application)
- Primary Food Hygiene Training EHOA accredited (Evidence of qualification must be submitted with the application)
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years current relevant experience in similar/large scale catering environment
Desirable Requirements
Qualifications:
- Management of Food Hygiene training
Experience:
- Experience in a healthcare environment.
- Experience in food hygiene and safety practices
- Knowledge of Health and Safety Practices
- Experience in IDDSI
