Resident Engineer - Dublin North/West

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage on-site activities across various civil engineering works related to water and wastewater infrastructure.
- Administer and manage construction contracts in compliance with relevant specifications and standards.
- Supervise the inspection cleaning and maintenance of reservoirs to mitigate risks of microbiological chemical or physical contamination.
- Support the implementation of Health Safety Quality and Environmental (HSQE) improvements across multiple project sites.
- Liaise effectively with clients contractors local authorities and stakeholders.
- Track project progress assess contractor claims and monitor budgets and schedules.
- Maintain accurate site records and prepare clear concise reports.
- Review and assess contractor submissions including as-built documentation and maintenance manuals.
Requirements:
- A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent professional qualification).
- A minimum of 7 years post-graduate experience with at least 2 years in on-site supervision of capital infrastructure projects (preferably water/wastewater).
- Proven experience in contract administration.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and coordination abilities.
- Full clean driving licence required.
Desirable Experience:
- Delivering projects in line with specifications budgets and timelines.
- Maintaining quality assurance and overseeing technical testing requirements.
- Evaluating contractor payment applications and claims.
- Supporting project planning and programme tracking.
- Preparing and reviewing technical documentation and design submissions
