About the role

We are offering a 6-month (June to December) Finance internship based inLondon England atourRio Tinto Head Office. This team is involved in executing Group strategic decisions and works closely with multiple sites and functions. This is a great opportunity to be involved in Finance-related decisions and learn about other functions at Rio Tinto such as Commercial IS&T and Group Services.

Reporting to the General Manager Strategic Review you will:

• Provide support with financial/data analysis and business development activities

• Prepare summaries and management presentations for internal project stakeholders
• Provide cross-functional analytical support

What youll bring

• A commitment to safety of yourself and your team
• Minimum two years completed in a bachelors or masters degree in Finance International Business Commerce/Business Administration Management or other related field
• Solid understanding of Financial Statements and strong financial acumen
• Strong communication (both written and verbal) and analytical/data management skills
• Collaborative spirit and able to work within a diverse team
• Proactive self-starter with the ability to manage tasks independently
• Previous internship experience in Finance Management Consulting or other related field is an asset
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to speak and write in French is an asset
