Job Title: Design Engineer Valves
Department: Engineering
Reporting To: Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager
Job Summary
We are looking for a Junior Design Engineer with foundational knowledge of valve design and mechanical engineering principles. The candidate will support senior engineers in detailed design drawing preparation and documentation activities.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in design and development of industrial valves.
Prepare 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software.
Support in preparing basic design calculations (pressure thickness bolt sizing).
Prepare BOMs and maintain engineering documentation.
Ensure drawings comply with API / ASME standards (basic understanding required).
Coordinate with production team for drawing clarifications.
Support testing and documentation activities.
Required Skills
Basic to moderate knowledge of valve design principles.
Understanding of strength of materials and machine design fundamentals.
Familiarity with API / ASME standards (awareness level).
Proficiency in SolidWorks / AutoCAD.
Good learning attitude and analytical skills.
Qualification
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Additional Details :
1.Working Days:Monday to Saturday (1st and 3rd Saturdays off)
2.Experience: 5
3.Working Time:9.30am to 6.30pm
4.Gender Preference: Male / Female
5.Interview Process: Virtual & face to face
