Student Employment Opportunity:Telecounselor
**This position is for current Palmer College of Chiropractic students only.
Function:
The Telecounselor is responsible for contacting prospective students by telephone grading or telequalifying them and then entering this information in our computer database.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
A. Responsible for tracking calling results and preparing administrative reports.
B. Maintains inquiry calling files and cards.
C. Recommends programs and initiatives for student recruitment and contact.
D. Call designated inquiry list to grade the inquiry for their interest level anticipated entry date and to answer questions. Enter this information in the POISE computer database.
E. Assist staff with special projects inventories campus tours filing data entry answering phones reception and mailings for special events.
F. Duties as assigned.
Requirements & Skills:
- Ability to perform assigned duties amid constant interruptions and time deadlines.
- Ability to concentrate on assigned tasks for periods including standing or sitting until tasks are completed.
- Strong Communication Skills.
- Must be a student enrolled in Palmer College of Chiropractic having knowledge of chiropractic and admissions requirements.
- Data entry experience and personal computing skills required.
- Knowledge of other office equipment.
- Must have an ability to communicate professionally by phone and to work well with people
