Brief Job Summary:
The Receiving Material Inspector is responsible for performing detailed inspections and measurements of incoming materials within a warehouse environment. This role ensures purchased materials meet quality standards supports continuous improvement initiatives and provides critical feedback that directly impacts product quality and customer satisfaction.

• Inspect purchased material and products in warehouse locations
• Document inspection findings and results accurately
• Complete one (1) Quality-approved continuous improvement project annually
• Perform measurements of incoming material and make decisions regarding product quality
• Communicate performance issues inspection findings and non-conformances to relevant stakeholders Conduct inspections data logging reporting analysis and training as needed
• Support warehouse personnel daily and assist with control of non-conforming products
• Perform other work as directed by the Supplier Quality Engineer

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a related role

• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability to use basic measuring equipment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and SAP
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001:2015
• Strong attention to detail and effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task adapt to changing assignments and learn office procedures/new software

• Ability to stand walk bend twist and reach frequently throughout the work shift
• Ability to lift 2550 lbs to waist level and up to 25 lbs above shoulders
• Ability to work at a computer and keyboard occasionally during the shift

• Warehouse atmosphere
• Must wear PPE including safety glasses with side shields safety-toe footwear hearing protection and additional PPE as required
