JOB DESCRIPTION:
Performs calculates reviews and reports laboratory diagnostic tests. Basic laboratory skills maintenance QC and troubleshooting abilities. Understand the clinical significance of the testing performed. Responsibilities for teaching training correction of procedural/Instrument issues.
EDUCATION:
Bachelors degree in biological science or chemistry or associates degree acceptable (with 5 years experience). Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Technologist certified or certificate qualified in the field. If certificate qualified certification to occur within 1 year of hire date exception or length of time can be modified by Administrative Director. (Certification tracked by department.)
EXPERIENCE:
The role requires strong basic laboratory skills proven experience with quality control and routine maintenance effective communication andmost importantlyprior handson clinical laboratory experience.
SCHEDULE:
This is a night shift from Tuesday - Friday 9:30 pm to 7:00 am
SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS:
Evening: $3.00 Night: $5.00 Weekend: $2.00
SIGN ON BONUS:
For eligible candidates there is a sign on bonus of $5000 (under 3 years experience) and $7500 for 3 or more years of experience. Certain terms and conditions apply.
RELOCATION:
Eligible candidates will receive a relocation package of up to $6000. Certain terms and conditions apply.
