Procurement & Supply Chain Intern - Pursuing a Bachelor degree in Logistic/ Supply Chain/ Management/ Entrepreneurship or relevance field.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing planning and engineering departments to acquire inventory in a cost effective and timely manner
- Process purchase requisitions purchase change orders and requests for quotes to suppliers
- Work with management to address all aspects of commodity management including procurement support commodity business plans market trends assessment pricing and product availability
- Perform cost analysis and volume planning for major commodities
- Monitor the cost schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to negotiate the highest quality at best value
- Develop new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are no longer competitive
- Recommend cost saving proposals including make-versus-buy analysis or alternative sourcing
- Interact closely with suppliers and Quality Assurance to resolve quality issues
- Support internal and external audits related to procurement processes and supplier management
QualificationsMinimum requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Logistic/ Supply Chain/ Management/ Entrepreneurship or relevance background
- Cumulative 3.3/4.0 GPA or higher
- Location: Texas Instruments Malaysia Kuala Lumpur (Onsite)
- Note: Please attach your university internship form (if applicable) and include your internship start and end dates in your resume when submitting your application
- Internship Period: Start in Year 2026 (Following University Academic Requirements )
Preferred qualifications:
- Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success both internally and externally
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Demonstrated strong interpersonal analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
- Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
- Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
