Distribution Account Manager
Strategic Focus: Southern Cone (Chile & Argentina)
Full territorial coverage 5070% travel required
At Axis Communications a global leader in network video solutions we are seeking a Distribution Account Manager to lead the distribution strategy across Latin America with primary focus on Chile and Argentina.
We are looking for a strategic results-driven professional with deep regional market knowledge capable of developing and executing commercial plans aligned with clear growth profitability and portfolio expansion objectives.
Strategic Purpose of the Role
The Distribution Account Manager will be responsible for designing and implementing the channel development strategy across the Southern Cone ensuring:
- Sustained revenue growth and increased market share
- Expansion of the partner ecosystem (distributors VARs and system integrators)
- Increased adoption of new technologies and high-value solutions
- Disciplined execution driven by commercial KPIs and performance metrics
This role requires a structured management-by-objectives approach (sell-in sell-out pipeline development active account growth territorial coverage certified partner development marketing ROI) combined with strong analytical capabilities and field execution.
Key Responsibilities
1 Strategy & Channel Development
- Define and execute the annual distribution strategy for Chile and Argentina
- Align regional objectives with Axis global strategy
- Develop Joint Business Plans with key distributors
- Manage forecasting pipeline visibility and quota achievement
2 Commercial Management & KPI Achievement
- Meet and exceed sales targets (sell-in and sell-out)
- Increase regional market share
- Develop growth plans by vertical markets and strategic segments
- Measure and optimize ROI of commercial and marketing initiatives
- Manage channel margins and profitability
3 Partner Ecosystem Development
- Recruit and develop VARs and integrators within the Axis Solution Partner Program
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and portfolio expansion initiatives
- Drive certifications and technical/commercial training programs
- Support field sales teams in demand generation activities
4 Regional Leadership & Market Expertise
- Analyze economic regulatory and competitive trends in Chile and Argentina
- Adapt commercial strategies to each countrys specific dynamics
- Generate market intelligence and executive-level reporting
- Maintain strong relationships with strategic partners (TIP) and key customers
5 Brand Representation
- Actively participate in trade shows industry events and partner summits
- Position Axis as a leading technology provider in network video solutions
- Transfer global best practices to ensure regional consistency across Latin America
Professional Profile
We are seeking a commercial leader with:
- 5 years of experience managing distribution channels in the technology sector
- Experience in IT electronic security or related technology markets
- Strong knowledge of the commercial ecosystem in Chile and Argentina
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding performance-driven objectives
- Demonstrated account growth and territorial expansion success
- Strong negotiation and strategic planning capabilities
- High autonomy analytical mindset and strong results orientation
- Willingness to travel 5070% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
- Established industry network
- Previous regional management experience in Latin America
- Experience implementing cross-selling strategies and driving adoption of new technologies
