LEAP is a Defence project for the supply and operation of living-in accommodation for single members of the Australian Defence Force. We work in small close-knit teams who will be there to support you on your journey. Our long term contract provides job stability longevity and career growth. We get the seemingly impossible done but first and foremost we do it safely always.
The Position
- General Groundsperson/Handyperson duties (Grounds and gardens maintenance laundry office and public spaces)
- Garden Care - spray/whipper snipper/mowing
- Competent in operating general maintenance and grounds equipment and chemical handling
- Responding to service requests for building maintenance
- Specialised cleaning where required
The Person
- Physically fit
- A great work ethic and ability to learn
- General handyperson/ grounds work in hotel style accommodation would be highly advantageous
- Good communication skills with a flexible approach
- Follow work safe procedures
- Because this is a Defence Base we can only open this opportunity to Australian Citizens with a current drivers licence
- Federal Police check prior to commencing employment
