Job Summary
Are you a passionate physiotherapist with extensive acute care experience ready to take the next step in your career Epworth Geelong has an exciting opportunity for a Grade 2 Acute Physiotherapist to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team in a part-time fixed-term role currently until June 2027.
As a valued member of our acute physiotherapy team youll bring a caring approach strong acute clinical experience and well-developed clinical reasoning skills. Your problem solving skills and flexibility in approach to challenging situations is practiced and effective. You present with a commitment to best practice and have a genuine passion for improving patient experience through innovation and high-quality care. Ideally the successful candidate will have regular availability Thursday Friday and Saturday.
You will make an impact by:
Delivering individually tailored and high-quality physiotherapy care to a diverse caseload of acute care patients
Providing education guidance and support to junior staff students and nursing staff as required
Collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes and drive service innovation
Integrating allied health into the clinical care team within the inpatient wards
To be successful in this role you will present with:
Experience managing a variety of patients in the acute inpatient setting
A demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement
An ability to work autonomously
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management and organisational skills

Qualifications :
- A Bachelor or Post Graduate Degree in Physiotherapy with current AHPRA registration
